Vinil Rabeek S, a celebrated artist and mentor, was born in Vallioor village, Nellai district, Tamil Nadu. From an early age, he displayed an extraordinary passion for drawing and painting, which he nurtured through relentless dedication. After completing his schooling in his native village, he decided to pursue his dream by enrolling in Fine Arts for higher education.
Vinil earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Fine Arts from the prestigious College of Fine Arts, Chennai, where he was recognized with the Best Student Award during both programs. His academic journey was a testament to his commitment to excellence and creativity.
After graduating, he joined Lalit Kala Academy, Chennai, as a working artist, further refining his skills and showcasing his art in numerous exhibitions. His work gained widespread recognition, and he became a prominent figure in the art community, representing his talent on an international stage. In 2015, Vinil’s exceptional contribution to art was acknowledged with the Young Artist Award from the Tamil Nadu government.
In 2016, Vinil began teaching art at several international schools, where he inspired young minds by introducing them to the joy of art. With limited resources, such as drawing only on blackboards, he realized the need to explore diverse artistic techniques and mediums. This experience sowed the seeds for a larger vision—to guide and motivate aspiring artists and share the transformative power of art.
This vision led to the founding of Colors of Life Artstudio in 2018, where Vinil has since mentored over 1,000 students. Through his studio, he continues to inspire and nurture budding artists, sharing his profound knowledge and passion for art.
